Update
Just wanted to put out a quick update, sort of a blog post thing. I promise I haven’t forgotten about my Substack! lol Life gets in the way of writing though.
My day job has gotten more demanding lately, with more and more responsibilities thrown at me and my team, so I’ve been pretty wiped out after work. I’ve also been studying for a new certification and preparing for a bit of a career move, which hopefully should be completed by the end of the year.
Summer always seems to get busy. Holidays, birthdays, vacation. Starting with prepping to visit the office in May, it becomes just a non-stop parade of things to prepare for and deal with.
My garden is struggling and I’ve given up on getting any beefsteak tomatoes or any more squashes, since we’re in the midst of a severe drought. Apparently you can only do so much through irrigation. The rain clouds build up over us, then move off to rain on the coast. I’ve never seen the rivers and swamps this dry since I moved here in 2017. I both hope we get a tropical storm or hurricane for the rain it’ll bring, and that we don’t because the flooding and tree damage would be horrible.
Don’t forget, my book “Though the Heavens May Fall” is available for sale on Amazon in both paperback and ebook format, and is available for free on Kindle Unlimited.
